I will share the steps on how you can create a vision board in a simple way, using Powerpoint. Are you ready? All right, let’s get creative!
Why do you need a vision board?
OK, let me be clear here.
You don’t need a vision board in order to manifest your desires, or a life beyond your wildest dreams. Not really. But it helps!
A vision board is a placeholder that reminds you of your why, your goals and dreams. It will help you to stay focused and keep going, even when you feel like nothing’s working.
Because when you’re reminding yourself on why you are doing what you’re doing – you will want to keep going. And eventually manifest your dreams and create a life you desire.
So, see a vision board as a tool in your manifesting toolbox. A powerful tool, if you ask me.
Want to start the new year fresh?
Now we have a few more days to go in 2019. Isn’t it time to look forward an map out your future? Isn’t it time to start out fresh in 2020 with clear intentions and desires?
I know, you might have a new years resolution, that’s fine. But this is something bigger and more powerful than that.
A vision board is a part of your creative process.
Because, remember that you are a powerful creator of your life. You are the artist of your life, who gets to decide how your canvas is going to look like.
And by using a vision board, you’re signaling your desires loud and clear to the universe.
Is it working?
Using a vision board will help you manifest your desires, since it helps you stay focused on what you want. That will help you get aligned and vibrate at the same frequency as your desire.
Creating a vision board is fun and easy!
See this as a fun creative thing to do! Even if you aren’t a creative person, I think you will find this fun.
It is a powerful thing to do, to set the temperature of your future. To decide how your future is going to look like.
But hey, don’t take this too serious! Have fun with it. OK?
Before you start creating your vision board
So, before we start I highly recommend you to prepare the images and quotes you want to use during the process.
In the video that I’m about to show you, I’ve already prepared the images in a specific folder. That will speed up the process and create a flow.
But this is totally up to you. You can find images as you go, if that suits you better. There is no right or wrong.
If you are searching for images to use that can spark your imagination and creativity, I highly recommend these websites. They have beautiful royalty free images that you can download and use for your vision board:
Motivational and inspirational quotes can be found on these websites, and you can create your own quotes too, using Canva for example.

The process
It’s super easy, and if you’ve read my previous blog posts, you know that I’m all about keeping things simple. This isn’t an exception! OK, so here we go:
- You can look for images of your choice before starting to create your vision board. Choose images that resonate with you. It’s your dreams and there’s no right or wrong what so ever. It’s convenient to save your images in one specific folder, so that you can find them easily as you go.
- You can use Powerpoint as I did in the video I showed here in this post, or you can use Google Slides too. It’s free for personal use.
- Open a blank presentation slide.
- Drag and drop the images you want to use in your vision board. You can play around here and do what you choose. Resize the images, put images and/or quotes above other images, or put an image to the back… Try and see what you like!
- Then, save it and your vision board is done! To help you stay aligned with your desire I suggest you to use it as your desktop background or as a screensaver. Then you get reminded often.
- You can, if you want, create several vision boards in different categories.
